As much as the leaders of Iran like to run off at the mouth about how awful the Western world is they still know that if they mess with Israel then they risk incurring the wrath of Western countries which have more resources, better trained troops, and better technology by which to wage an effective war by air, sea, and land. They also know that regardless of who is in power in the West that member nations of NATO are more united than would appear on the outside. Iran cannot wage an effective war against the United States or the UK at this time for no other reason that Iran is met on at least two of its borders by a massive buildup of powerful armies of democratic nations.

I think you meant sleazy not lazy. Iran talks the talk but cannot do the walk. Israel will make short work of them and they know it which is why Iran sponsored terrorist in Lebanon and Gaza. Money is easier to give than lives. Ironically that is the same position Clinton and Carter took in the 90's when N. Korea made threats.
