Hi,

How many pairs of shoes do you own? How long do you keep your shoes? Are you male or female & what is your approximate age?

How many do YOU think is too many for one person to own? Should shoes be functional first or fashionable first? How much is "too much" to pay for a pair of shoes?

Is there anything else you would like to add on this subject? Thank you for taking this survey.

I own approximately 200 pairs of shoes. I keep them until I get tired of them. I am a female. I am 37 years old. One can never own too many pairs of shoes. Functionality and being fashionable are of equal importance. There is no cost too high for a great pair of shoes. Shoes are the first thing people look at on a person, believe it or not. They say a lot about a person. A guy with run-over, or cheap shoes on is definitely a MAJOR turn-off for me. Right up there with dirt under the fingernails. UGH!!!

I love shoes, right now I have probably around 60-65 pairs of shoes. I recently cleaned out my closet and got rid of some. I am female 25 years old and I love finding unique shoes then hunting for an outfit to go with them.

My favorite pair I have had for about 4 years is a pair of velvet leopard lace up clogs.

i am female age 24
i own about 10 pairs
i keep them for very very long time unless the shoes are worn out which then at least a year
too many shoes are probably 30 pairs or more
shoes should definitly be functional more than fashionable because i hate going out with people and the girls complain that they can't walk for more than a block cause their stillettos are hurting their feet
paying more than $100 is too much

I have about 12 pair of shoes, I keep them as long as they are shiny and fit, I am a male and age 47.
I think more than 12 pairs is too much. I think they should be fashionable. I think 150.00 for a pair of good shoes is fair price and I would pay and do pay that much.

I think you need to ask peope if they eat their toe nails before or after cutting/trimming them.

I am female

I have about 35 or 40 pairs of shoes.
Lots are seasonal, so sandals for summer, boots for winter etc.
I have several for practicality, but most are for fashion.
I pay 25. or less per pair, but usually buy them on clearance and at bargain stores.
I would pay as much as 50 if it were something special, 100 for a pair of leather boots. I keep them as long as they look decent. Sneakers get replaced more often. I think if a person has more than 50 pairs of shoes, they need a little help. I only have a lot because I buy them so cheap , sometimes for 8 or 9dollars a pair.

each person should own at least two shoes. More than that is too many unless you have more than two feet.
Shoes should be practicable for healthy feet.
