My sister has a baby boy with this condition and any information wout be appreciated

My 4 year old son has it and he is about 2ft. tall and weighs 27 pounds. He is our Miracle Baby. contact me and we can discuss it further, if you like.

Its a congenital defect. If you contact your local hospital or a large one near by it will probably have information or a support group. One thing I read about it that seems important is that he should not receive live vaccines.

Infants with the 22q11 microdeletion should be monitored for hypocalcemia, renal function and low lymphocyte count. Babies with low lymphocyte counts should be seen by an immunologist and should not be given live vaccine immunizations.
