Don't remember what games I didn't get. We had no money when I was little and I later found out alot of our toys were hand me downs from relatives whose kids grew out of them.

I always wanted a real horse, and living in the city, there is no room for one. So I settled for the Breyer Horses.

Now that I'm in my 40s, I'm finding and buying some of my favorite games I had when I was a kid. Green Ghost is one, Mary Poppins game was another. Does anyone have the instructions?
It's the one with the Merry-Go-Round spinner and nice graphics. There were two versions.

Always wanted Connect 4 and never got it.
Most disappointed when I turned 18 as wanted a 3D Superwoofer ghettoblaster (it was the 80's) and I got a sewing machine which cost 3 times more. I couldn't speak to my mum for a week and couldn't even bring myself to say thank you.
Finally got Connect4 last year for my daughter and play against her - shes good!

Deprived or what. Mine had the Pop up pirate and Buckaroo, Buckaroo being their favourite.

You may be able to indulge when you have grandchildren, bound to be updated versions available.

It may seem weird, but I didn't really play with many toys when I was young. I was ALWAYS outside. My parents had horses and I was mad about them, so we (my friends and I) would either be riding or pretending to be horses. I remember playing with Barbies once in awhile, but the one thing I always wanted but didn't get no matter how much I held my breath was a canopy bed with a dust ruffle and lots of pillows. I know it sounds wierd, but a friend had a canopy bed and I was always soooo jealous!
Well, my husband bought me a canopy bed for Christmas many years ago ...... so ;P to my parents! lol
