Its so hard. we've been together for two years & we live together. he took me to look at rings for mos. & told me to pick one for sure & said he wanted to be engaged by Christmas & then 2 weeks ago he suddenly didnt know what he wanted & wasnt sure if it was the right thing & the ring came in the mail 2 days ago & he is sending it back & I am so sad & hurt & I just feel like I have no choice but to end our relationship, because is it possible that he really loves me if he is going back on his word like that? I just think he must not really love me even though he says he does & says he doesnt want to break up-

Tell him its time to step back so you can both be sure you want to continue. Maybe the time apart will bring out the truth of your feelings. I feel for you, good luck with everything and just take one day at a time.

2 years is a pretty long relationship... (it would be for me anyway)
it sucks to consider this, but did you every think that maybe hes just bored with the relationship?
it is possible he still loves you, but just not in a romantic way.
maybe he is still in love with you, but feels getting married by christmas is too soon.
I dont know if im confusing you, but heres my answer:
JUST DO IT. if you REALLY feel like its time to end it, you have to do it. you cant worry about how sad you are going to be, then it will be harder, or it will keep you from ending it all together. Just remember that there are tons of other men out there and recovering from break up like this will take time! you need to tell him, maybe it wont be as bad as you thought, maybe it will be mutual. if you're seriously thinking about breaking up for more than a few days, then you just need to get it over with. if you stay with him even though you're thinking a lot about breaking up, you know its only because of how long you've been together.

Why did he send the ring back? It's SO over once he does that! Unless maybe the ring had a defect and he didn't want you to know. He sounds a little confused himself, maybe you should talk to him about it before you break up with him.

sounds to me like this "superb pal" might have emotions in direction of you that are no longer undesirable! i think of the excellent ingredient to do is to be trouble-free such as your boyfriend, in case you dont tell him the kind you sense then he isnt going to correctly known. do in simple terms it in a peaceful way and attempt to cut back the word "hate" as lots. it could injury his emotions somewhat, yet whilst he likes you as much as you like him then it shouldnt be a challenge, you would understand if he's one to adhere around because of fact he will apreciate the reality which you instructed him. His reaction would be greater desirable than you will expectt, your in simple terms demanding given which you like this guy lots and dont want to take any opportunities to dropping him. wish this helps
