Classic high-heel pumps are the sexiest! (Almost like the stiletto but with a more rounded heel.) Together with the calf the heel produces the s-shape that we men love. This kind of shoe makes a lady walk sexy too. The heel should be 3-4 inches.
The wedge at its best does the same job as the stiletto but never quite as well, and sometimes it is more like the platform. Caution is advised.
The platform tries to be sexy but fails miserably. It looks terrible and makes your butt resemble that of a cow when you walk. Avoid at all cost!
Flip flops are nice especially if you have pretty feet.
Flats work, and can look sexy in an understated way.

Actually, boots are the sexiest to me. Knee high ones with a heel are dead sexy.
Other than that, any kind of a heel; stiletto, chunky or platform is sexy. Wedges would be next, but many of them are ugly, so it's risky.
Flat shoes are boring, they may be practical, but they sure are dull.
I think flip-flops are gross, no matter how many flowers or crystals they glue on them.

Flats... it shows that a woman is mature and comfortable with herself.. and that is sexy. Of course a woman's total package is what counts, evening gown with flops... No you would know better than to do that right? All can be sexy with the right combination, but what men really find sexy is barefoot and nothing much more than that for an outfit.

The flip flops look more comfortable if the weather is appropriate.
If a girl's feet are comfortable they will not distract her or slow her down.
Then she can focus on me more.
The feet usually are not the first thing men look at.
The shoes affect how you walk.
This is more important.
In the movie, Jamon Jamon, when the boyfriend was getting intimate with the girl acted by Penelope Cruz he would always ask her what she was thinking about.
She would always answer that she was thinking about having a closet just for shoes.

Platforms are too slutty, flip flops to casual, wedges dont lokk good on everybody, so either the stilettos or the flats (just not that pair).

Why would you worry about what guys think about you shoes if they're not going to be buying them? Do you know how many back problems and foot problems you get from wearing shoes like the ones you've listed?
Wouldn't you rather be able to project intelligence, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, a loving heart, an honorable woman who would make that man richer simply by being in his company?
Go barefooted, sit under a tree with him, talk, get to know each other---who you are as people-----and maybe, just maybe, you can put your feet in his lap while he reads to you from Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
The shoes would get left in the car!

you know guys dont look that low on a lady to find out whether shes is sexy. i suppose there are more interesting things upwards. i am sorry but thats true. but if you really insist, i think the amount of skin exposed just above the shoes will come into play to rate it sexy. so its upto you to 'choose wisely. dress well.' atleast the color tone of your skin and the shoes should match as much they do with your dress.
(pssst:- guys look shoes only on other guys when they feel he is competitive and determine his stand to themselves by weighing his accessories.)

depends on the girl, honestly, while long legs look longer with heels, sometimes, they look too long. on short girls, i like flat shoes, this is because short girls are hotter to me. while heels look nice, i prefer my women NOT to wear them so then they cant complain about them, and platforms to me died in the 70's with disco. flip-flops are nice in the summer, makes you seem like the fun-type, but all around, flat shoes work for me
