do you know somebody who always keep a promise?

No. Politics is a game of give or take. It is not as easy as you may think, since there are forces that are for and against every little thing and they all want their way or no way. So you will make friends and you will make enemies in the same breath with a nay or an aye.

I therefore think of politicians as leaders. Most want to be the popular one and those choose the decisions which gain them the most happy citizens. It takes monumental courage to go against public opinion. When the public hates you, it becomes a lonely road to take when you take on an unpopoular decision.

May your god shine a light on the leaders of your country so they will keep the planet safe and habitable, for crying out loud.

Ah, yes the "All politicians are bad" question. How I have been waiting to answer this. Anyway, I must say that our current "Gotcha!" news media has managed to twist public perception of the political system for the worse. This attitude of "They're all crooks, so why does my vote even matter?" is the very reason that so many (yes, I admit there are a lot of bad politicians) crooked and corrupt politicians can stay in power. They believe Americans are stupid (why else would they betray our trust in such a manner?) and they count on apathy to prevent anyone from fighting against them. We have to hold politicians accountable for their actions, and the first step is to say "We can do better." Even if some elections seem like the difference between Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee, small differences make a big difference of the long run. Get informed and don't be afraid to take action when you see injustice. I hopes this helps you.

al gore claimed to have invented the internet. bush, sr. said " read my lips, no new taxes". so, what do you think? yeah, i know people who, if humanly possible, always keep their promises, but most people don't because they simply don't care and will tell you anything, for any of their own selfish reasons.

100% it doesn't matter if they're Republican or Democratic, they never ever do what they sya they are going to do and they always avoid answering the questions that they are asked. They are all dirty liars and not worth anyone's time or money or support.
