I need a book that basically has loads of logos, shapes, pictures that can give me inspiration for my own logos.

I don't have a problem thinking of ideas, I just think it's important to do research to see if there are other possobilities. I dont want to steal someone elses idea, but in art courses, you are encouraged to look at other peoples work.

go to barnes or boarders and in the art section they have TONS of graphic design books with logo ideas and stuff. i bought a lot of them from barns when i was a student for graphic design. just go check it out. and if it's too expensive to buy them there write down the book info and go to amazon.com and you can get it cheaper at times.

"Good" design ideas don't come out of books. They come from talented people that think up, develop, and market their designs.
If your getting your ideas from a book your simply recycling someone else's ideas!
