Why do Black people always say AKS instead of ASK?

Totally insulting! I never say "aks". Like what the h*ll is aks? You do mean ask don't you?

I always correct my black students when they say "ax". I tell them that they are in college now, and should start talking like they're educated. They generally catch themselves and agree.
