In many liquor stores, you can buy pear brandy, with a real pear inside the bottle. The pear is whole and ripe, and the bottle is genuine; it hasn't been cut in any way. How did the pear get inside the bottle?

When the pear begins to form they slip the bottle over the pear.

While it is little it fits right inside. Then let it grow & ripen.

Pour in brandy & cap it off.

In certain areas they have someone place the bottle of the bud of the pear while its still on the tree. That way the pear grows right inside of the bottle as a whole.

The pear is grown inside the bottle. The bottle is put over the flower on the tree and tied on till the pear has grown.
