How Come Everytime i put the sims2 disc in the thing wont pop up so i can install it?

Go to "my computer" and click on it mannually. If that does not work, then the disk might be either to dirty or to damaged for your computer to read it properly.

go to my computer and where it says dvd/cd-rv drive (E) click and it will appear
