breasts implants are just that--implants surgically put into a normal breast to increase size--augmentation on the other hand takes a breast and surgically lifts the surrounding membranes/skin to up lift the breast that are usually sagging--sometimes breast tissue is cut out and skin suttured to give the breast a more full natural look....

As far as I know there is NO difference but the name. Although I think Augmentation might also offer a chance to alter the nipple and maybe lift breast also, but I might be wrong.

I think they're actually the same, although there is a new technique out there now where instead of implanting a bag of liquid (saline ect) they can actually use liposuction to remove fat from the tummy/ thighs/ bottom and then put it in your breast. It looks and feels more natural.
Costs more but in the long run I think would be safer.
