Check if all cables are plugged in properly. If you work wireless, check if all indicator lights indicate that they're on. If all else fails, reboot, which generally gets the thing that loops in the memory to stop doing such. These loops cause a lot of unexpected behavior and can generally be deduced to bad programming. Even the best of programs contain a few bad strings of programming, especially if they have to work along other programs running some of their faulty or defecting instructions.

It probably froze. Try...
1. Pressing alt + ctrl + delete all at the same time. A window will appear showing the programs you have running. Find it and press 'end program'.
2. Pressing F5 (refresh) if you can't click on the refresh button.
3. Clicking on start, then shutdown, then restart.
Hope this helps! =)

When my computer freezes up I press 'control, alt and delete' all at the same time. That shows you what is not working and you can shut it down. Then I turn off my computer and restart. Sometimes I think the computer brain just gets scrambled and has to be shut off to unscramble.

Check the link to your icon... maybe it is not a valid path, if not then make a new shortcut. If you don't know what i am talking about then I can't help you.

Shut the computer down, and restart it, and see if this rebooting helps.
