Well, I can't speak for Canadians, but I know there are a bunch of Americans who love soccer. We just don't have the publicity of our professional teams nor do we have any major stars. Also, there are other sports that people are more fond of. I however, am a truly devoted soccer fan, and I know there are more around!

I'm from the US, and to be honest, I thought "soccer" was a waste of time in this country because of the other 4 major sports (baseball, basketball, hockey, football), but I sat down and forced myself to watch a game of soccer, and damn.... those guys/girls play harder than anyone else that I know. They play harder than hockey players simply because hockey players can wear protective gear. I give mad props to professional soccer players; they're tough as nails. Ever since I watch that game, I've been addicted! Thank God for ESPN!

Yes, there is a market. Otherwise they would not show soccer matches on Saturday mornings, and there's also the Fox Soccer Channel.

Me! But unfortunately nobody else in America does except the American football(soccer) players and their mom's! I hope in the next few years it gets bigger.
