I'm away at college and even though it was a choice sometimes it gets hard being away form home... the thing i suggest is for you to go out and try to get involved in things in your community because if you stay in your home all the time all you're going to do is feel depressed instead of going out there and enjoying what you do have that you way you can meet some new poeple and involve yourself in fun new things....

omg i felt exactly the same a couple months ago!! what u need to do is not think of ur hometown and just think of all the new, open possibilities in ur new town. find something interesting to do around where u live, make some friends, just think of all the new experiences you would never had where u used to live. i know u dont like to see this kind of stuff...u just need someone to talk to, or u just want people to understand. i understand completely, because every night i would pray we would move back, and im not religious, so i was at a desperate level. but you just need to learn to love life there..no matter how stressful and difficult it is.

Firstly, keep in close contact with your friends there and visit.

Secondly, explore the place where you live. Find your favorite parks, restaurants, coffee sops, vintage stores, anything you're into, and visit there often. It seems foreign now, but learn to make this place your own by building memories in great places there with your new friends.

I feel the same. It happened to me a couple of times, I realized that wherever I go I get used to it and don't want to leave. It is very hard, but try to make the best of it.
