it's too long when u start tripping over your own hair continuously.

It all depends on the age of the woman. A 20 year old can get away with wearing hair down to waist and it would probably be ok, but on an older woman, it just looks weird.

It's all a matter of style, too. Some people have long hair just for the sake of having long hair and they don't take care of it properly and it looks like a rat's nest.

Personally, I have shorter hair and would never grow it long. I think below the shoulders is a good length if you're going to have long hair.

It is only too long if you don't like it that long. It's different for each individual. Personally, I don't like mine longer than a few inches below my shoulders. On some other people I think waist length is gorgeous.

Interesting... I would say past the shoulder blades is too long except you might get away with just a bit longer if you are very tall

When it's below the bum... my hair is down to my waist but I don't think it's too long...
If it's below the bum, it just looks weird!
