You must first judge the relationship of the DP to the host and also to the rest of the class. Depending on that analysis:
* Ignore the disruption, except to note that time is limited and you need to focus on the agenda
* Let the rest of the class handle it. Take 1-5 minute breaks when things start to get out of hand.
* Contact the host and describe the situation.
* Try to make light of the situation, make the DP a joke
* Stop the training completely
Only try the last two if you are desperate. They can backfire big time.

Facilitator or instructor, you must maintain a learning enviornment, free of distractions. If the person is really disruptive, ask that they quiet down and cooperate for out of courtesy.
If it really gets out of hand, I would ask the person to leave, and take statements from other people in the room. The host pays for the training, and expects training. It would be unprofessional not to train.
If it got worse, I would call security, and inform the host immediately.

Stay calm. This person may have been put in the group by the host on purpose,to see how you react.

use him for an example, if you are training how to beat off an assailant, or how to get dogs to bite, that would be funny. Humiliate him, shame him, make him shutup.
