sort of like why we are not same color through and through.
insides have other needs-and uses. innards are there to keep the seed moist and fed, growing and protected don't need color fro the functioning.
nature helped the apples develop certain outside colors fro survival needs.
some survived by being bright attracting birds and other animals to eat them spread the seeds already fertilized if you understand that.to be deposited elsewhere and help survival of the species by spreading it around.
some other apples though survive by distracting.or hiding as in with the green apples blend with the leaves.( think lizards). the greenies like their seeds to find their own way, no fertilizer, thank you very much..

apples arent red on the inside because everything starts out green. ever heard of cloroplast? it just like the same thing. and over time the outside green skin turn red because of the seasons like green leaves turning yellow and green. You dont see the inside of the apple change because it is shielded from the sun so thats why the inside is allways yellow >:)

The goal of a living plant is to reproduce and spread its seed out as far as possible. The point of a fruit is to seduce an animal to eat it and spread the seed of the plant (I won't detail how the animal spreads the seed....use your imagination). The more seductive the fruit, the more likely it is to be eaten. Think about flowers. They are designed to attract birds and insects so pollen will be spread far and wide.

Simple to explain, the inside is not red so you can tell the inside from the skin.
