Hello an individual I do not know obtained personal information about me and posted it on a fantasy football message board. The information includes a phone number as well as my dads name. Could someone help me figure out a way to scare this guy into taking it down?

Email the webmaster of the site. There should be a link somewhere on the site to do this.

Don't email people, call them. Do whatever you can to get phone numbers. Often when you get an automated 800 number if you hit "0" you will be directed to an operator.
Threaten Yahoo with a law suit if calls and emails don't work (Yahoo is a busy company though, so expect it to take some time). If its out of control (people contacting you because of it) than you might have to change your phone number, email name, etc... for your protection. At this point, the damage is already done.
Please be more cautious on the web, I'm sure you learned your lesson, and MAKE SURE you download firefox (http://www.firefox.com), keep Windows up to date, and NEVER USE INTERNET EXPLORER!

You must have put out information that others could access or pass along.
Haven't you heard we shouldn't put anything on the net that we don't want published? Suggest the options you set when joining this group. For example, in Yahoo Answers, we can opt to receive or not receive e-mail and we work with a nickname. Check your setup.

How do you know it's not someone you know? Check out your firends and acquaintances first to see if one of them is responsible.
