For right now I'm going there til I can get my citizenship. I have RX meds and I was wondering, should I fill them all and bring them with or just bring the RX papers with me and fill them there? I was told I can have them mailed to me but wouldn't that cause problems having RX drugs mailed to me across the border?

Buy all your drugs in Canada -
they are much less expensive in Canada - that is common knowledge.

It's easier to take your prescriptions with you and have them filled in Canada, rather than trying to take drugs across the border or have them mailed to you, as they still have to go through customs and you might be liable for duties or surcharges.

welcome to Canada!
