My daughter didn't start until she was 14. Was your Mother a late starter?

Some say there might be something or you could just be a late starter. I wouldn't worry too much, I was and I was thanking God I didn't have to worry about that like all my friends at such a young age. It comes when you're body is ready. Although if you get to high school, you might want to just get checked out.

I wouldn't worry about their "big boobs". Most my age are now sagging and I'm not. :-). So, hang in there girl and don't worry so much. Eventually your body will catch up. Maybe not in the chest, but when you get older, you'll have a better chest than most big busted women your age. That is unless they've had surgery :-(.

No sweetheart. Do not rush it, trust me. When I got mine, I was almost 15 years old. It is a proven fact that those girls that are a little heavier start sooner. It will come when it ready. Just know when it comes, you have to deal with it for 30 plus years.

totally nothing wrong with you. every body is different. i know girls that have their periods at 8, which is early and some who don't get it until 16. (i work with children) so don't worry. also, your body changes before you get it, like you will start to need deoderant, and your boobs will grow, if your body is going to be that way. give it time. besides, having your period is a pain. you'll see. but i understand that your friends have it and you want it too.

Every female is different. Everyone developes at a different rate. However, have your parent take you to the doctor just to make sure. They can test your hormone and thyroid and make sure all is well. Otherwise, be grateful that you don't have to put up with the "monthly monster" and all the problems it brings with it!

Nope perfectly normal, the age in which periods begin is usually between 9 and 16, all are normal. I didn't start mine until I was sixteen, don't worry your fine and normal.

I didn't get mine until I was 13. Everyone grows at different rates. You still have plenty of time to grow in to the woman you are to become, just give it time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you!

No. There is nothing wrong with you. First, most girls don't tend to get their periods until mid teens. Second, lots of girls get theirs at about the same age as their mother. Finally, heavy girls tend to start sooner and the "fat" of the extra pounds brings upon the growth of the breasts.

Nothing is wrong. I didn't get mine until I was 14. I'm very small and petite so I think that had something to do with it. Don't worry, it'll come.

A young lady must obtain a certain amount of body fat before menstruation can begin.
