When I put in a search and hit web search, it does nothing. This is happening on about 4 computers in our house.

Also, I can't open myspace.com by the URL address. I have to use the IP address and when I get to the page, I can't log in. It does absolutely nothing. Happening on multiple machines in the house.

I think your computer and internet speed are slow. You can repeat your searching 2 or more times. It mabe works

Do you mean absolutely nothing? Even if Yahoo can't find what you are looking for it would advise you of that.
You have me bugged. Please try one more time. Type something in the Yahoo search bar (next to the magnifying glass) then hit "enter" or "return." I have no problem and would appreciate a message if this still doesn't work for you.

maybe because you have a slow computer, maybe you do not have a good sever.
