every time i try to download a video clip from limewire i get it all downloaded and try to play it windowns media player pops up and it starts playing but i can only hear the soundtrack to the movie or clip or w/e the screan is blank no pictures any ideas?

maybe you need to check the settings on your limewire or your windows media player.

wrong format of video. I get that a lot. I downloading other programs to play it, like Quick Time. Sometimes there're some blank files on the internet, i wonder why. There's just nothing in the file.

you probably dont have the correct codec.
id imagine most of em are mpeg 4 so you will need either xvid or divx.

and really if you are downloading video you should think about using eMule its much better for larger files.
