It could be, the air bags will not deploy if needed when the light is on. Then they may prematurly deploy whiling driving. Get it scanned. It may be nothing but better safe than sorry.

Nope, but in a collision your airbag may not deploy. There is a fault somewhere in the abs system, so until you get it scanned you cant tell if it is functioning good enough to deploy when needed.

In this case you will have to go to Toyota to diagnosis a air bag light. When there is a fault in the system the bags will not deploy.

No. But has it been deployed before? If so I would change the Air Bag. You are suppose to do that. After its been used before.

No, it just means something inside it is gone wrong. You should take it to Toyota and have them look at it. It's possible its a clock sensor has went bad. I had it go out in my ford aerostar not to long ago.
