It could be due to the difficulty involved in adopting a child. It takes lots of time, money, a good lawyer or agency, and a STRONG DESIRE to adopt, meaning that only people who are "put together" can do it.
Just about any woman can get pregnant, and can do so for a variety of reasons, both wise and unwise.
If adopted children are more successful, it's most likely because they're adopted into families that have more resources/ support. A crack ho can get knocked up, but can't adopt.

I am not even sure what you are talking about here on the first part of your question but as far as adopted children being more successful I can definitly see how that would be. These are children who are brought into homes where the parents have to qualify to get them. They cant just be some poor slobs. Generally the people who adopt are more stable and have planned for this child so the will be financially ready.

Hmmm no clue I wasn't slimy after I had my 10lb baby.... I think its the way a child is rasied will determine the success of the child not adoption and not giving birth yourself its the way they are raised.

I do know that some people who are adopted are insecure and take it out on others. Similar to what you are doing.
