Discharge is a normal bodily fluid produced by the vagina as part of its self-cleaning functions, it can change dramatically throughout your cycle, and the typical pattern is for there to be more discharge prior to menstruation, just after menstruation tends to be the driest period.

Just as long as you don't have excessive discharge or a change in discharge colour, texture or smell, then there is no problem it is just normal discharge change due to hormonal changes during your menstrual cycle, learn to recognise these changes and what is normal for a particular time in your cycle then you will be able to determine when it is normal discharge and when there may be an infection or STD.

It is normal, most women experience an increase in discharge before their period is due. I do. If it get very heavy then I would go back to the doctor, but dont stress it.

It's spelled "menstruation". Did the doctor give you a thorough examination? If not go back. That doesn't sound normal.
