Hope you did not run the car until it stopped then more work will be necessary. Drain the tank remove the tank take to a radiator shop get it washed out and dried. If driven replace the fuel filter fuel pump fuel pressure regulator and injectors.

The sugar combines with the gasoline and forms a gel.
Clean the tank, or get a new one. I'd say new. Fuel pump and filter and lines may have problems, too.
Possible injector problems.

The tank has to be flushed by a mechanic or they will replace it.
