I don't know about that but have you seen some of the people absolutely pigging out on the food (obese and skinny people) - it's like they haven't eaten for a week.

No, I am fat and I don't think all-you-can eat buffets should be banned. I might be fat, but I also have self-control when it comes to eating at a buffet. If anything, it makes me eat less because when I see how much people (fat AND thin) scarf down, it's enough to make me lose my appetite.
You can't ban something just because some people can't control themselves. Why not ban soft drinks or all fast food, too? Because it is ridiculous to make everyone suffer for the actions of others.

Hellfire, no. I'm of normal weight, and I also enjoy buffets. Nobody's forcing the obese people to eat at buffets, and at any rate, it's probably a stereotype to say that they all do. Some of the most heavy-set people I know are sitting at home torturing themselves with all kinds of fad diets. Anyhow, when I go to the buffet, I see all kinds of people there, both fat and thin. Why attempt to legislate people's eating habits just because some people happen to be obese? It doesn't even make sense.

No, the buffet has nothing to do with it. It is the people who refuse to exercise. I eat at buffet all the time and I am not fat. Why!? Cuz I exercise.

No! This is a free country and if people want to be obese and unhealthy, that is their choice. People shouldn't be "controlled" that way. People should learn self control.

No. Don't make the thin suffer because others like extra butter on their biscuits.

Well, that depends on the restaurant. If no, then if that obese person eats and god forbid, have a heart attack, then they would try to sue that restaurant, so I'm going towards yes.
