How about the loans advert with Phil Tuffnell? Hes so sh*gging that Rachel woman!

Or the adverts where the stooopid man uses the 'wrong type of ladder' and sues his employer. Take some responsiblity man!

Don't think they're on any more but I'm voting for the cartoon Honda ads where the engines go flying around the place. If I never hear that "Hate something, change something" tune again, it'll be too soon!

Those are all excellent candidates, I'd grant you that.
But for me it would have to be the positively nauseating 'E-sure' adverts in which they claim 'careful drivers dont pay for other peoples accidents'. Its completely false and if your bear with me, I'll explain why.
Every insurer in the UK that places vehicles on risk with a policy has to pay percentage of the premium generated into a fund called the Motor Insurers Bureau.
This fund is used to pay out the innumerate victims of uninsured and untraced drivers involved in non-fault incidents. This means no matter how careful you drive, you will always be carrying the can by paying for people that a)choose to drive there vehicle recklessly b)not bother to stop/or have at least Third Party insurance.
Also the grand myth about having more than 4/5 years no-claims bonus having a big effect on premiums "I've got eight years". Well sorry, but most underwriters give the maximum deduction on there premium at 4 years.

I cant change channels quick enough, I tell ya!

The one for Cornflakes, or frosties, or whatever they are, where the boy gets out of bed and starts singing 'they're gunna taste great...' OH MY GOD!! I swear if I ever see that boy I'm going to strangle him. I actually change the channel if I see that advert, that's how much it annoys me, I can't even watch it.
Sheila's wheels is funny! Especially the one with the man singing in a really high voice. There are some brill adverts out there though, my personal favourite was the Churchill one with the aliens!

i'm with Krissy on the loan advert. That guy is a patronising assh*le and ought to do with a reliable skelp on the gub. My different severe hate become one that is on at Christmas interior the STV section. that is an advert for the Glasgow fortress procuring centre the place a woman RUINS a shirt, shoes and books so as that she would be in a position to pass lower back to purchase greater. i'm able to understand the thought yet whilst i become between the human beings who'd misplaced money on the Farepak Hampers fiasco or had in simple terms been made redundant (or perhaps in simple terms basic previous skint and could no longer purchase my young ones pressies) this feckin advert could have sent me over the actual. BTW: I DID ***** to STV approximately it!

Injury Lawyers 4 you are the worst ads on tv, closely followed by the two adverts for Picture, the loan company.

Picture Loans - that advert is shockingly bad for all sorts of reasons. I hate that guy with a venom. And why the hell is his wife filming him while he's on the phone begging for money??
Injury Lawyers 4 U - Their adverts will always get me out of the room.
Greenhill Finance - Incredibly unconvincing people obviously reading token marketing spiel off the back of cards. Hmm...how very convincing.

It would be ringtones but thankfully those ads seem to be RIP these days.

One, anything with singing where the music is related to the product. That would cover Sheila's Wheels, Clover, SCS, Frosties, and a multitude of other offenders.

Two, anything with "real people" talking about the product in an unrealistic way, e.g. the medicines adverts where people hand out £5 products (that there's a 50p generic equivalent of) to passing strangers.

Three, sell-out celebrity ads (e.g. comedians who previously appeared to have a social conscience suddenly promoting the lottery).

Since Clover meets both the "awful song" and and the "unrealistic real people" angles, that would meet with my greatest annoyance.

Well there are two types that I can't stand.

1. Any accident claims adverts

2. Adverts for loans, esp. the PICTURE loans where the couple are all smiley on the phone to them and one is videoing the other asking for a loan!!! And they say...we just want to get rid of all our debts!!! ha!

Halifax in most of its formats - persistent and so boooooring !
The ice skating Citroen is getting a bit tedious - surely adverts should lead to something worthwatching - bring a smile - like smashing the TV with the indoor golf putter

Oooh Sheila's Wheels is sooooo annoying! I personally have another to add to your list: The Direct Line Insurance adverts! The way the voiceover guy speaks "we asked a (pause) cross section (in a bemused voice) of motorists..." blah blah blah!!!
