Watching videos definitely uses more battery power than just listening to music...

Due to the intense graphic and sound load, they will drain a battery faster than just playing music, if that's what you mean. I'm not sure that it's wasting the battery, though!

Use, not waste. Of course videos use up 3 times more than music only. Cauz it loads more files at the same time, display more motions and play sounds at the same time.

Kind of, for example it takes a lot of power so it pulls the battery. I'm not sure if you got that but to answer your question.. sort of...
