7 is an easy age for gift giving at christmas find out what cartoon characters he favors or even some learning leapfrog stuff i have even seen videos of animated characters (in cd form i think) that children learn different languages spanish would be very helpful for the whole family to learn it will be usefull later otherwise take him to a late christmas eve mass and teach the real meaning and purpose of christmas that would be the greatest gift ever and one he will be sure to remember

You could get him a Red Rider BB gun, just make sure he doesn't shoot his eye out! lol. Most 7 year olds are easy to buy for. Game Boy, computer games, Power Rangers, Action figures, remote cars..what's he play with alot at home? Take it from there.

Here are a few ideas: a magic set, anything remote control (car, truck, robot), a baseball bat, ball and tee, an interesting puzzle or an educational computer/video game.

ask him his favorite cartoon then go out and buy a whole outfit with toys and everything on it like spongebab and that will be good then getting him in to christ isn't bad at all so get him a childrens bible.

Lego's or Lincoln logs........something to build with. They sell really neat and educational toys at Learning and teaching supply stores.

ANYTHING that will spark his imagination (Legos, etc) and creativity. I detest video games or anything electronic that deadens a child's mind and imagination, creativity. Fun and imaginative DVD's would be great.....if he doesn't like to read.....sigh.....but books are a better bet! ANYTHING at all that STIMULATES his wide open mind and perhaps his body, too! ........he's just a little blank chalkboard ready for information......:)........a blank canvas ready for painting.....etc....lol........seriously.

dont know where youre from but in scotland we call them tattie guns .its a small gun you push into a potato and when you fire it the bit of potato shoots out!!!my 7 yr old loves it i want one too.
