before the big-bang?

You mean explain, of course. The problem with that is that for very early times (less than a trillionth of sec after the Big Bag), densities are so high that both gravitational and quantum effects are important for the description. These two theories have never been reconciled, and present versions are inconsistent with each other in such cases. Since a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, the chain of events prior to this is "broken" as far as our knowledge goes. That's why lots of smart folks are working on a "theory of everything" that would include both gravity and quantum mechanics as we understand them as limiting cases.

Well, First Tell me what happened before the day you were born.If you cant tell that then why are you blaming the scientists. They are tiring their best to explain what happened in the beginning with our (right now) equipments.
Even I don't believe The Big Bang ever happened because a Bang means Colliding of Two substance containing mass. And to create mass Equal to the universe it should be almost equal to to at least A little less mass than it is today. Which means the universe or some part of it should be present before The Big Bang. Which is almost opposite to the theory of Big Bang.

I think you mean "explain" rather than "predict".

Science only works on things that have evidence. If an idea has no evidence, then science cant do anything with it. As far as science is concerned, it is not part of their business.

So, science focuses on ideas that have evidence - things you can measure, count, observe, touch. That includes things like Evolution (there is a MOUNTAIN of evidence for Evolution) and the BIg Bang. The Big Bang didnt just come out of left field. There werent just a bunch of scientists sitting around saying, what kind of wacko theory can we come up with today? THey came up with this idea by having more and more observations about the early universe that didnt fit in with their old ideas about how things started. After a while they tried to fit the pieces together to explain all the facts they had collected. The result is the Big Bang.

One thing you have to remember about science is that it works the same for all topics. So the exact same methods that were used to explain how to make a cell phone, or build a bridge, or an airplane - that's the exact same methods that were used to come up with Evolution and the Big Bang. To a biologist or an astronomer, those ideas are just as reliable about as an airplane is to an aeronautical engineer.

Because the mathematics and laws of physics that scientists understand break down at a certain point and no longer give sensible results - however, it is actually quite remarkable that scientists do understand the physics of the big bang down to a tiny fraction of a second just after the bang.

Once upon a time, 20 billions of years ago, all matter
(all elementary particles and all quarks and
their girlfriends- antiparticles and antiquarks,
all kinds of waves: electromagnetic, gravitational,
muons… gluons field ….. etc.) – was assembled in a “single point”.
It is interesting to think about what had surrounded the “single point”.
The answer is :
EMPTINESS- NOTHING….!!!
Ok!
But why does everyone speak about EMPTINESS- NOTHING in
common phrases rather than in specific, concrete terms?
I wonder why nobody has written down this EMPTINESS- NOTHING in
the form of a physical formula ? You see, every schoolboy knows that
is possible to express the EMPTINESS- NOTHING condition
by the formula T=0K.
* * *
Once there was a “Big Bang”.
But in what space had the Big Bang taken place
and in what space was the matter of the Big Bang distributed?
Not in T=0K?
It is clear, that there is only EMPTINESS, NOTHING, in T=0K.
Now consider that the Universe, as an absolute frame of reference is
in a condition of T = 2,7K (rests relic radiation of the Big Bang ).
But, the relic radiation is extended and in the future will change and decrease.
What temperature can this radiation reach?
Not T=0K?
Hence, if we go into the past or into the present or into the future,
we can not escape from EMPTINESS- NOTHING T=0K.
Therefore it is necessary to begin to think from T=0K.

Let me try to put this in layman's terms.

The big bang is the beginning of this universe.

I am greatly oversimplifying but in a nutshell Time is a consequence of Gravity and Quantum Mechanics which in turn are consequences of the existance of Matter and Energy. Before the existance of Matter and Energy there was no such thing as Time. I know that seems a bit counter-intuitive but Time came "after" Matter and Energy, not the other way around.

Predict means know ahead of time. That's probably not what you mean.

There's no way to look back before the Big Bang. There's theory, but no way it can really be tested for sure. Do you know what happened to you before you were born/concieved? How could you test something like that? Is there even a 'before' for you?

The only reason why scientists think of this theory is because the universe expands at an amazing rate. This, in their theory will lead to the "BIG RIP"

This is an instance when people cannot prove what happened. There is no evidence, there is no way to find factual evidence even of the big bang. Thats just it you can't create a hypothesis becuase you cannot even test it. It's seemingly impossible. That's why.

expensive chum, i believe that on the time of the flood the international become okay populated.A inhabitants of one thousand million become quite a threat.additionally i think of technologies become very plenty progressed besides as verbal replace.Noah become a preacher of righteousness and no person believed him.Even his brothers and sisters perished interior the flood. The scientists ought to not have predicted the flood. The flood become such an unusual international experience.the international had actual in basic terms one very super continent and extremely small seas and decrease mountains. It had never rained in the past. Then all of the volcanoes interior the international blew up and it began to rain.
