There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

You need to use a thick absorbant terry cloth towel. An old one you dont care about of course. Put your iron on high and go at it. You will notice when it begins to pick up the wax. Just make sure that once a spot on your towel has a layer of wax on it you move to another section of it. Good luck

there is two suggestions on a thank you to eliminate wax from carpet. a million/ Use the edge of a butter knife to scrupulously scrape off or raise up as plenty good wax as you are able to .Use a dry sparkling white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then warmth it with a iron on low putting because of the fact maximum properties have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too warm, it will soften the carpet. save checking the spot each ten seconds or so, shifting the terrycloth so as that a sparkling spot is on the carpet. 2/ that's the extra useful way. Use the edge of a butter knife to scrupulously scrape off or raise up as plenty good wax as you are able to warmth up an entire kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet on an analogous time with a moist vac vacuum up the water. save on doing this till the wax is bumped off. Put a piece of paper (just ordinary white paper) over the candle wax, put a tea towel over the paper and then iron it. The wax will melt and be absorbed by the paper.

Place greasproof paper or kitchen roll or brown parcel paper over the wax and then put a warm iron over it. This slightly melts the wax and you can remove it easily!

I agree with GIRL but also try putting ice on it. It will harden and you can chip it off. Or try putting some paper towels on it and iron it with a warm iron. The paper towels will absorb the wax.
