There's a reason why you pick the best answer. State that in your reply and thank everyone for helping out with answers as well.

So far I have answered 590 questions & had 30 best answers. Am I offended that more of my answers were not chosen as best ? Not at all because I know not everyone will agree with me. I just am glad I could help someone just a little. When some one gives me a real go answer , I try to e-mail them to thank them & envite them to my 360.

You can click on the avatar and most people allow you to e-mail them. You can thank them and tell them why you chose the other answer as best. Or you could do it in the body of the message at the bottom of your choice for best answer.

I doubt anyone will be offended. People answer questions, they move on, rarely do I go back to questions I answered to see how they were resolved, unless of course someone picks mine as best, then I feel good. It's all good!

it does not bother me that someone else was picked for best answer you can only pick one, I have posted ?'s and wanted to pick more than one answer but could not. that is just the way it is.

When you make your choice you could do like an honorable mention in the "comments" tab.

I usually send emails to people who have been helpful.... many people have set it up so you can see their Yahoo 360 pages or email them.
