I have been thinking about deciding my major and I was just wondering if being a elementary gym teacher is fun. I love sports, and i love group activities. I enjoy being around kids (hey im a kid myself). I was just wondering if it is worth it???

Go for it and remember this most places are considering bringing gym class back in some capacity so you could be going for a field that will open up big time soon. Gym classes do at least let children get some physical activity when they are in it.

This is an important and essential part of a child's education; especially with our growing epidemic of childhood obesity. However, it will not be a walk in the park. You will be required to master areas in elementary education, statistics, anatomy and physiology as well as the sports content.

just go for it girl, if you think you'd rather do something else, then do just that. But it seems you want to.
