Put the trap out again, use abit of a mars bar or meat works better than cheese.
Or get a cat to kill em.

I had this problem once, if you live in a city it's likely to happen! I was in the middle of selling my house too! Here's what I did after finding a mouse....

Firstly I set a few traps using peanut butter as bait!
Secondly you can buy these mouse repellers that you plug into a socket in each room. They set off a sound that we can't hear but the mouse can and hates! I got a couple of these and put them in various rooms. I never caught the mouse in the trap but I never saw one again, they go back to wherever they came from and you shouldn't have a problem.

If you want to be completly thorough, you can buy rat poison. Personally I didn't like that and didn't need it!

Yes, there will be more but be persistant and keep putting down the traps. I always put a currant on the trap which seems to work. If you put a large piece of bait on the trap they seem to be able to nibble round the outside and not get caught when the trap goes off. Good luck.

Our cat got run over and since then I have caught over 20 mice with 2 traps in 3 weeks.I have an old Ketch All automatic live trap that has caught probably 10 more. You just wind it up and they go in and a spring loaded flipper sends them to a vented compartment where they die from cannibalism or starvation if there is only one, unless you want to take them somewhere far away and release them, maybe your mother in law's house. Check it often as dead mice stink far worse than droppings, also a problem with poison as they seem to make it to somewhere you can't find them to die.

Oh my god YES !if you have one then i can guarantee you have at least another 6 in your home ! i have just managed to get rid of the little bastards ( probably moved to your`s now ) i tried every conceivable method to get rid of them NOTHING WORKED so save your money on these gadgets that omit a noise only mice can hear to scare them away ( i think the ones in my home where having a disco with them as the little bastards used to walked over them ) i actually did catch one using a glue Matt , but i bought some of that , expanding foam i took off my fire ,sprayed it around the gap between the wall and plaster board , i did the same along all the floor boards / skirting boards and around all the pipe work in my home (including behind the oven ) cupboards etc and ( fingers crossed , i have not seen or heard a mouse for over 3 weeks now , when at 1 point i was seeing 5 or six every few hours . Good luck cause your gonna need it to get rid of em !

Yes. You will have to keep putting the trap down. Look for mouse `droppings` and place the trap near that point. If there is one mouse there will be others!! Don`t despair, eventually you will catch them all, in the mean time ensure that all of your food is covered so that they cannot get to it. Happy hunting.

Probably, since they are starting to look for warm, safe places to spend the winter. Mice leave a scent trail that other mice follow, so you will want to keep traps set in the appropriate places. Don't be shocked if you catch a whole family of the critters before Christmas.

Don`t bother with environmental health, I don`t trust any agency that has mental in its title, and they will only put traps down.

You have to look for the holes they are getting through, the pipe work under sink is a good place to start, block any holes around the pipes leading into the wall with wire wool, they hate the stuff.

Bathroom is the next place, look for pipe work going into the wall,
and plug around pipe with wire wool, this may mean taking the front of the bath off.

then check other rooms, around the skirting boards, and anywhere there are pipes.

Worked for me......pain in the **** looking for the holes though.
Good luck

It is possible. You could ring the council who would send someone to put traps in the house and get rid of them.

Watch out for other mice comeing back to seek revenge!

Sorry to say that one is the tip of the iceberg. You can trap them till the cows come home. The only thing that works for me is poison , but keep it well away from pets.
