Tons of conditioning. You know how long those rounds can feel. Also watch the diet. I know it's tough keeping at a weight. Don't let a coach force you down to a weight that you're having problems getting down to. I've heard of too many wrestlers getting eating disorders. If that happens you're not going to be any good anyway.

Also, keep up with school. I know it's corny, but it's great to have a back up!

All i have to say is Good luck and pay attention to your coach, i was going to go for wrestling when i was in middle school but this kid i didnt like too much just laughed and said i was going to be bodyslammed all over the mat. and your right amateur wrestling is more real, more physcial then the wwe bullshit. and just pay attention what your coach tells you and shows you.
