Yes, the Bed-in-Bag are sets and would fit your needs, except I've found them to be.........cheap.
You what the highest thread count you can afford. The closer the threads, the smoother and stronger the sheet. Realize also the more threads per inch (count) the heavier the sheet. This is a surprise to some. Egyptian cotton is considered high quality as the fiber is longer, thus less potential nubs......like you'll notice them, not.
Thread counts can go up to 1,000 if you really want to go top of the line.
Personally I prefer all cotton sheets, some folks put polyester in, not for me.
Higher quality sheets will last years! I find I get tired of sheets before they wear out.
Be aware of your matress size (depth) Newer ones are exceptionally thick and you'll have to pay attention to that, older sheets don't accomodate the thicker matresses.
As to brands, the only one that comes to mind is Martex. There are many others, Martex is the only one that comes to mind. Sorry, I don't buy sheets that often.

Buy a set of sheets that includes fitted, flat and pillowcases. The higher the count the better the sheet. Beds in bags sometimes come with sheets, but they are usually low quality ones. After you choose the sheets, buy a soft chenille comforter and a few throw pillows. Good luck, Mr. Bachelor!

The higher the thread count, the softer the sheets. I have 400 thread count sheets and they are wonderful. And they definitely will get softer the more you wash them. It's true that the bed-in-a-bag sets are crap, so don't get those. If you're not sure about a color, just stick to neutrals like white, ivory, or tan colord sheets. Another way to go is the jersey bed sheets. They're really stretchy and really comfortable.

A twin XL bed is 80 inches long, as is a queen size bed. You could use a queen size fitted sheet, just put a seam in it from top to bottom. A Queen size mattress is 60 x 80; A twin XL is 40 by 80. You could also just cut off some of the extra on the top sheet. a full size bed is 52 by 75.

If money isn't an object I'd definitely go with the 600 count! They'll feel so soft and comfortable and your sleep would be better on those compared to the lower counts. I wouldn't recommend the bed-in-a-bag because the thread count isn't as high and they don't last as long. Happy shopping!

thread count is the number of threads per square inch. the more the softer.
my husband always used the bed in bag sets and didn't think anything of it. when i put my sheets on the bed, he said he never wants that cheap crap ever again. he's about as cheap as they come (don't waste money) and will spend whatever on 600 count.
TUESDAY MORNINGS usually has them super cheap. like $50.00 for a whole set of sheets (fitted , flat, and 2 pillow cases)

Pima cotten is nice and soft, and will last for years, egyption cotton is also nice, also the higher the thread count the softer the sheet. Just go to Bed Bath and Beyond or Wamsutta, they have everything.

anything with alot of cotton is good, the more you wash them, the softer they will get. Don't get the bed-in-a-bag things they are terrible. The egyptian cotton is probably nice.
