Suppose your display screen has 800 by 600 pixels. What is the total pixels on your screen?

There are 800*600 EFFECTIVE pixels.

However, there are actually 3*800*600 elements, since each color pixel is comprised of a red, a green, and a blue element.

If it is a camera the answer would be
800*600=480000 pixels. I'm not sure if
this would be the same answer if it is a TV
screen.
