I take digital photos, and the date and time on my camera is correct. I download them to my computer, and they arrange usually in the correct order. However after time (and perhaps after moving files, copying, etc) the "Picture Taken" date changes. I'm not referring to the "Date Modified".

Why is my "Picture Taken" date changing?

It would be useful to know how it is changing - always by the same amount of time, etc...?

You should check your timezone settings on your PC (Control Panel, Regional Settings).

I would assume the time is coded into the photo file properties, so the problem is with the software you are using to list/view the photos.

Go to the website for the software in question and download all patches and updates for the software.
Also check the support pages on that site to see if similar issues have been reported and how they have been resolved.

Alternatively, check the photos using different software and see if the same problem occurs.
