i put limewire on my computre before and now i have a bunch of viruses and i had to get rid of it and now i have a mac os x. on the first week i got it i downloaded limewire and it messed it up so badly i had to take it back to the store, they couldnt fix it, so luckily they gave me a new one.
but now i wanna download and my comp doesnt work so is limewire okay if i take certain percautions. cause the guy on the apple helpline said he has limewire but the guy at the store said its horrible cause it opens up ur hard drive or something. and maybe there is another system like limewire that is better for mac? thanks

Not sure, but that kind of stuff, even though you are paying for it, is illegal. You are only paying for the service. For a legal way to download music that you won't get viruses from, I would say join iTunes.
