Being into photography myself, it really all depends on the quality of the photos(most important!), who the subject(celeb) is, what they're doing, and if they've been in the media limelight recently!!

Depending on how far you wish to take this, there are a couple of different ways of getting the photos published, and money for yourself.

Firstly - there's a website for amateur/poor quality shots, that you could try and send them to, see what feedback you get. www.scoop.com (could be co.uk - can't remember) There also others out there.

Secondly - if they're really good, and of someone famous in the media limelight, then you could try contacting leading news/celeb magazines/papers, usually the main editor, or someone who deals with the photography part of editorial pieces. Then see what they think/could do for you!!

You'll find out sooner rather than later, if you can get anything for them, as if they're really good, then they'll be a bidding war between multiple publications - leads to more money for you!!

I would think it depends on WHEN you took them (in other words, have the paparazzi beat you to it already), and how "hot" the celebrities are at the moment.

If you just took them, and they are celebs anyone would love to see pics of, I would call some magazines and ask if they're interested. (if they are, be sure you get enough money for it, don't let on you're a "beginner" at this, LOL)

the pappz probably would have much better photos they foolow celebs everywhere, i dont think a magazine would pay for them when the pappz are getn paid to take photos. but i rekon u would get quite a bit of cash if u sold them on ebay, as long as the pics r good enough quality to see who they are, i think ur best bet would be ebay

Yes.. Heat magazine has a "Spotted" feature - where people can send in photos of celebrities they've caught on camera.

It says to "Text or e-mail your Snapped pictures straight away to 0784 350 0911 (start your message with HEAT SNAPPED) or snapped@emap.com with your name, address and a daytime telephone number. If your (unposed) pic of a star is printed in heat, we'll give you a cheque* for £200." :-)

depends if they are clear and if the celebrities are doing anything wrong even slightly. but you probably won't get a lot for it. magazine companys can be very tight

No they won't be interested unless they are doing something sordid. Seriously don't even bother! And your camera phone?? If you are not taking a RAW image over 8mp then they wouldn't be printable anyway.

yes in theory, but they may not be sufficiently notable pictures and the quality might not be high enough. chances are that if you saw them other people will have done too, the pictures may not be very valuable.
