Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some websites, e.g. ebaumsworld, profit from ripping other people's work off. Some companies do offer legal pastecodes, but they can stuff these with spyware. Finally, some people have a "we only host it" attitude like YouTube, where it's legal in the sense that YouTube are OK with it, but they offer no assurances that the original uploader was legal.

So, I'd say be very wary. Even if it is legal, nobody's going to come to your site to view the same game posted on 1000 other sites.
