First and foremost you can not own 2 teams in MLB. Secondly don't you think that as a business move it is smarter to stay with who has the history. Yeah the payroll is almost 100 million less but the Yankees could give the Mets their stadium for a year and the numbers wouldn't even be close. If you want to buy a team you should look at the history first, and then the fans and the market. The Yankees love them or hate them would outdraw the Mets for the next 15 years. This is an absolute no brainer you do not sell the Yankees for the Mets. Why don't you just ask John Henry to sell the Red Sox and buy the Braves and bring the Braves back to Boston?
