I fixed the engine, suspension, electrical, the works, and after 4 1/2 years of restoration, my brother and I have come the conclusion that we want her to be satin black with fat white walls and red stock rims, The most basic of finishes. any tips or sudgesstions

Mix the base coat with a satin finish paint... to achieve your look you will not be able to clear coat..... Go to your Paint Store and discuss your idea.... they will guide you in the right direction... sounds cool... good luck

black is the colour that shows up any defects so prep,prep,prep. i thought satin or suede finish was base coat/clear coat without the clear coat this car sounds great , any way to post pix. of it before, during and after ?

make sure you put plenty of clear coat on it .that way you can smooth out any swirl marks
