I see the future... can't you?

Describe the world you envision for the 3006?
What is the environment like? How do people live? What are people like? What is important in their lives? How has technology advanced? How are things different from now? What types of events have happened to change things?

I say the world will probably be ended by then. At the rate we're using our natural world, and the rate our population is growing, even if we don't pass through the asteroid belt that killed the dinosaurs, we'll run out of things we require. That's on a purely natural basis.
If, on the other hand, Jesus is coming in 2016, like some people say the Bible says he is, we'll most definitely be gone by then.

I haven't the foggiest inkling what 3006 may be like. In fact I've been wanting to write a novel on exactly that subject and can't get started. But I did write my vision of 50 years from now. Please see my blog below:

I think that people will live to be 200, thanks to the nanobots. They will also look young. Plus, there will be a Disneyland on every planet. People will also fly to the Andromeda Galaxy.
