I am currently on dial-up with AOL. I would like to go onto broadband but I don't know which provider to choose. I have been told AOL is not very good. Please help!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I would stick with the big names like BT, NTL or Telewest. Don't be fooled by these "free broadband" packages from Orange or Sky or TalkTalk. They are causing problems for loads of people. Definitely a big "no" for AOHell.....you will have to make sure you get rid of every trace of AOL from your computer, they upload a lot of garbage on your computer.

If you want a "no trouble" package, then keep to the "big boys" I've mentioned above, it's worth it to pay that little bit extra and know that you won't have problems.

If you have cable TV in your community, check with them, they may offer cable data services.

Also check with your phone company, depending on where you live you may be able to get DSL.

Anybody else that offers you "Broadband" services probably has a contract with your cable or phone vendor.
