That really depends on the individual, some learn faster than others and do not need to repeat the performance. Some learn the first time down the road. And some have to learn after a few trips. God bless

this calling one a MAN----it is a metaphor---this applies to women allso----it is what a man really is----so what is a man----a man stands up and lets his thuoghts be heard, he does not hide from the world, he teaches that which he knows, why does he teach---because he is a father figure, if he is a man he is not afraid to let his feelings about anything be know, he can share all that is within him without shame and without fear of what others may think....thus being free, being free to be all that he is, free to be all he can be.....if you fear something, anything, how can you be all you can be...the amount of roads you must walk down, is........all the roads within you that keep you locked in, every road in you that keeps you from truely being you, ......

The words "Wind", "blowing" and "answer" spring to mind.
Don't try and find philosophy in Bob Dylan lyrics. Poetry yes - you'd have to be aesthetically defunct not to find poetry in them. But philosophy is not poetry. Philosophy is mundane and dry. If philosophy ever strays into poetry (Hegel, Fichte) people end up in gas chambers.

The problem is in defining man.
If maturity is your basis, are we talking sexual maturity or emotional maturity? Because, sorry guys, but usually you reach the first long long before you reach the second.
