I have heard that if someone is being mean or rude to you, you should kill them with kindness. Does this really work or does it make you seem like a wuss?

Yes but my friend was sentenced to life in prison, no parole, for doing just that. 2nd Degree Murder with a deadly weapon. Apparently he was just too nice about it. Sounded pretty gay to me

Hatred cannot stand up to love. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13 that charity (love) is kind. Kindness is an aspect of love. People are rude and mean because they are not used to being shown kindness. When you show kindness to someone, it might not work at first, but repeated efforts will bear fruit. that fruit will be a change of attitude in the other person. Some people have never been loved---they know only hate and violence. I deal with inner city types every day and with prison inmates, so i do know what i am talking about. A small amount of kindness will go a long ways to earning you many life-long friends. remember, today's enemy can be tomorrow's best friend. It is all about love----the love of God coming from you to someone else.

Turn the other cheek - you heard this before. Yes, it works but be tactful in showing that kindness. It will show thru. Less said the better.

It means you are taking the high road and they don't have anything they can attack you for if you are being nice and not mean.
If someone is being mean to me, I would either respond with kindness or, better yet, just shine them on completely. People like that aren't worth the bother to me.

When people are bothering someone they absolutely hate when they are either being ignored or not cared for. It works, believe me. Just ignore them and treat them like they are not even there.

The more response you give, the more they will come at you. Take a whatever attitude. If they can't get a rise out of you they'll eventually get bored.

That depends on the person.....it can work, but if your dealing with someone with a deviant mentality it could back-fire.

I think that it works, in some cases. Some people get so pissed, when you don't sit up and argue with them, when they are looking to argue, lol.
