either use a heating pad and place it over your stomach for about 15 to 30 minutes or heat a towel with hot water and place it over the stomach until it cools, the heat relax the muscles which are causing the cramps. Also take non aspirin pain relievers as directed, drink plenty of water when taking this, you can also stop using tampons and use sanitary napkins as the tampons has additives in them that causes cramps and extra flo problems. You can also buy the heating pads sold for muscle aches over the counter and place on your stomach but do not leave on to long as it can burn your skin, make sure you have your panties in between, the pad and your skin for extra protection.

They use to say a hot water bottle, esp for the back(not hot..maybe warm in the h-w-bottle)...
I feel today, women need more than that!
Its not nice, and why should we suffer....so I believe a good doctor...can help with this.I know you said home remedies, but girl your have to look after yourself! Men/cramps can be very very painful, and yes most women get them....but they are not less important to fix.

Pain medication and a heating pad. If you exercise before your period that will relieve cramps. This is because the muscles are already stretched out.

One that was successful for myself and my friends has been rolling a baseball around your abdomen .a tennis ball may work too they are close to the same size.If you have severe pain see a doctor (female) ,they seem to beleive you faster. You could be uncomfortable but it shouldn`t double you over.if it does thats not normal
